Acupuncture  

 

Acupuncture, as it is practiced today, is a facet of a tradition of Chinese Medicine that dates back 3,000-5,000 years to Japan, Korea, India, Tibet and China.

 

Its effectiveness for treating a wide range of disorders and ailments are so well recognized that the World Health Organization has acknowledged acupuncture as an effective medical treatment, stating that, "The sheer weight of medical evidence demands that acupuncture must be taken seriously as a clinical procedure of considerable value."

 

Chinese Medicine

 

There are five main aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine:

  1. Acupuncture
  2. Herbal Medicine
  3. Qi Gong: Energetic breathing exercises which cultivate and circulate the qi of the organs and meridians
  4. Traditional Dietetics: Eating in harmony with the seasons and one's body constitution.
  5. Massage

Chinese Medicine can treat and prevent illnesses, including but not limited to:

  • Treat gynecological imbalances
